Targeted to applications that require IPMI 1.5 and 2.0-compliant Baseboard Management Controllers (BMC), the IPMI Firmware Suite provides a critical interface to your hardware - allowing other applications to monitor system hardware and sensors, control system components and to retrieve logged events. We also provide PICMG 2.9 R1.0-compliant Peripheral Management Controller (PMC) applications for CompactPCI boards and blade server products.
Modular "Real World' Firmware
In its 3rd generation, our extensible architecture satisfies many of your proprietary equipment needs. We maintain our base IPMI v1.5 and v2.0 firmware stack for multiple management controllers - from sophisticated Enclosure Management Controllers (EMCs) to simple PMCs. And by using an RTOS, we isolate hardware dependencies, allowing you to use the same code base and architecture across all server product lines.
Support Advanced Features
For those companies that want to support proprietary or advanced features, we offer Turnkey and
Advanced development packages. These allow any company to offer IPMI solutions at a greatly
accelerated rate. Rapidly adding IPMI application and communications commands allows you to
create a differentiated product without having to access / modify the original IPMI firmware.
We customize each delivered firmware stack using configuration data files to quickly reconfigure
general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pin assignments. This helps reduce your design cycle
time while allowing for maximum flexibility and differentiation. Advanced features that could be
supported include Out-of-Band Management or Console redirection over the LAN.
